As humans, we have been made for love.
We are made for relationships and we can have a relationship with God. In our relationship with God we find our deepest fulfillment and satisfaction.
Unfortunately, every single one of us enters this world in a state of lacking closeness with God. We are unable to experience a close relationship with God because of sin. If we are honest, there are things we all do that we wished we didn't do, and things we say that we regret.
Every single one of us has sinned.
Sin has a consequence. A spiritual and eternal death.
“Jesus died for our sins.”
Jesus wants to make himself known to us. This is the power of the message, the Good News. It brings hope, offers transformation and assurance about our destiny. The Good News will not take effect in our lives unless we receive it and respond to it. Good news demands a response.
This message, proclaimed clearly, has the power to bring new life in Jesus.
Will you respond?
“God I believe I was made for love. I admit that I have sinned in many ways. For those sins I am sorry. I believe that Jesus died for my sins, that he was buried, and was raised from the dead for me personally. Jesus appear to me in your own way, make yourself known. Jesus, I want to be in relationship with you.”
Homily begins at 23:00.
