Three Points of the Homily
1. Beware of the "Spirit of Comparison"
We can't use others as our measuring stick. "All men have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God." Rom 3:23

My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.
1. Mercy of God.
God's mercy is for those who fear him from generation to generation.
2. Lowly before God.
There is a correlation between lowliness and the greatness that God can do with us. The emptier we are, the more God can fill us.
3. Hungry for God.
He has filled the hungry with good things, and sent the rich away empty.
We must always hunger for God. If we think we already have enough of God, we will not be fed.
