I was born in Vancouver on May 8, 1991, where I have lived my entire life. I am the youngest of three children. I have one brother and one sister.
I attended local elementary and secondary schools, where I excelled in studies and in sports. I have recently graduated from the University of British Columbia with a four-year BA degree in Political Science, with a minor in English Literature. I am fluent in speaking Tagalog and have basic speaking and writing skills in Spanish.
I attended the CCO Rise Up retreat in 2011 in Vancouver. Then I became involved with CCO Bible studies while at UBC, as well as with Life Teen youth ministry at my home parish of St. Patrick’s in Vancouver. I went to World Youth Day in Madrid in 2011 where I had my first sense of a call to the priesthood. In 2012 I went on the CCO Impact Mission to Halifax. This further solidified my faith and love of Jesus.
I keep myself physically fit by keeping active; running, snowboarding and basketball are my favourite activities. I enjoy cooking, reading and hanging out at coffee shops. (I am very sociable) My family is involved with Couples for Christ and Youth for Christ.
