Prayer is something that has to be learned. It takes time. It takes effort and it is not always easy. No disciple can excuse himself or herself from a life of prayer.
God longs to console us. He uses the Church to do that. As we go out to share that wealth and those riches we experience great joy.
I hope that as you look around that you see more and more true disciples, those who have heard and responded to the Gospel.
God preached the kingdom and showed the crowds that the Kingdom had come.
We may need a new measure of what makes a strong parish.
He want to baptize you in his Holy Spirt. Ask him to do that for you today. And ask him to do that everyday.
