So you get a text message from your friend Jesus that says, "Meet me at the art gallery."
"It would be a good exercise for us this Holy Week to make an inventory of all the sins of our life. And, the moment we start feeling shame overcoming us, the moment we start to feel grief strangling us, the more we get that urge not to think about this anymore, let's remember the story of the Text Message from Jesus. Above all, let's remember the blood that was shed to pay for it all, to wash it all away."
The emotion we need to have when we think about the passion of Jesus, and when we think about our sins is gratitude. To be able to look at the one who paid for it all and say a simple thank you.
