A fundamental decision that every Christians must make in his or her life is to walk by faith and not by sight.
“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” (2 Corinthians 5:7)
This decision to walk by faith is preparation for the coming of Jesus. When our Lord Jesus comes we will wish we had simply trusted in him.
“In this you rejoice, although now for a little while you may have to suffer through various trials, so that the genuineness of your faith, more precious than gold that is perishable even though tested by fire, may prove to be for praise, glory, and honour at the revelation of Jesus Christ.” (1 Peter 1:6-7)
If you are going through a trial right now walk by faith, not by what you see. Things might look bad, praise the Lord. Things might look hopeless, glory. Things might be falling apart, I fear no evil. Why, because I walk by faith.
